Experienced TPO Roofer

Job description:

We are looking for an experienced TPO Roofer to join our commercial roofing team. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, safety-minded, and takes pride in quality workmanship. Commercial flat roofing experience is required, especially with TPO roofing systems. As with many small companies, team members are expected to communicate well, work efficiently, and be willing to continue learning within a unique industry.

Duties:

  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial flat roofing systems with a focus on TPO roofing.
  • Assist with tear-off and reroof projects on commercial buildings throughout Minnesota.
  • Install insulation, membrane systems, flashing, and other roofing components.
  • Operate hand tools and roofing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow project specifications and safety procedures at all times.
  • Work with crew members to complete projects efficiently and maintain workmanship quality.
  • Identify roof issues and communicate with supervisors regarding repairs or jobsite conditions.
  • Maintain clean and organized jobsites.

Requirements:

  • Experience installing TPO commercial roofing systems.
  • Experience with commercial flat roofing required.
  • Knowledge of roofing tools, materials, and installation practices.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift materials and perform physical labor throughout the workday.

Commercial Flat Roofing Estimator

Job description:

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Flat Roof Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have commercial roofing experience, the ability to read construction plans and specifications, and strong organizational and communication skills. This position will primarily focus on bidding and managing specified commercial roofing projects from architects and general contractors.

This role requires attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents for commercial roofing projects.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for commercial flat roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, and related components.
  • Coordinate with architects, general contractors, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the bidding process.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations.
  • Assist with project management and job handoff after awarded work.
  • Track and manage bid opportunities and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and records.

Requirements:

  • Commercial roofing experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Experience estimating commercial flat roofing projects preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Duties

  • Manage and supervise service teams to ensure efficient operations and high-quality workmanship.
  • Coordinate and schedule service jobs and leak calls, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee small projects, including setting up pre-construction meetings and compiling materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including job progress and materials used.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in safety and quality workmanship.
  • Ensure quality of workmanship.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

The role we are looking to fill is a person that needs to be self-motivated, open to asking questions, and prepared to learn about a unique industry. As with many small companies, onboarding involves on-the-job training.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated sales assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support senior estimators by setting appointments, handling administrative tasks, reviewing architectural plans, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong organizational skills, have a high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

We promote from within, and highly motivated individuals can advance to become estimators and/or supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in scheduling meetings.
  • Calling on existing customers and answering incoming phone calls.
  • Emailing out proposals and calling to check on the status of the proposal.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and files, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to project management and client communications.
  • Support the office management team with administrative duties as needed.
  • Provide customer support by promptly addressing client questions and concerns.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
  • Act as a liaison between the construction team and clients, ensuring effective communication.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Experience

  • Previous experience in an office setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • CAD
  • Bilingual, Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
